The Last Internationale is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 2012 and discovered by Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine).
The band mixes blues, rock and folk with socially committed lyrics. The duo, consisting of guitarist Edgey Pires and singer/bassist Delila Paz, creates a raw and emotional sound that often sharply criticizes social and political issues. Their new single Masters of War is a powerful reinterpretation of Bob Dylan's classic, combining the message of the original with a modern, urgent call against war and abuse of power.
With albums such as We Will Reign (2014) and Soul on Fire (2019), the band has positioned itself as a powerful voice for change. The Last Internationale have performed with major acts such as Rage Against the Machine and The Rolling Stones and continue to combine music and politics in their work, with Masters of War being the latest example of their socially engaged sound.
