Jesper Jesper (NL)
Jesper Jesper is the new project of Jesper Albers, known as the drummer for rock bands Paceshifters, Mozes and the Firstborn, and the Australian Wolfmother. This time, he serves as singer/guitarist and songwriter. His alt-country sound, with hints of 90s indie rock, is reminiscent of acts like MJ Lenderman and The Jayhawks, with forays into the rootsy music of Neil Young. After numerous shows and the release of his debut EP, "Keep An Eye Out," Jesper and his band have entered the studio to record their debut album. Expect an album in 2025 that will further deepen his sound, with new songs that feel both raw and melancholic.
