CAMPING RIBS & BLUES
Just 3.5 km from our event, CAMPING RIBS & BLUES will be opening its doors this Pentecost. This temporary, comfortable campsite offers spacious pitches for campers, caravans, and/or tents for our Ribs & Blues visitors. It features good sanitary facilities, electricity available, breakfast is optional, and of course, the authentic Ribs & Blues atmosphere will be there.
In short: After a short bike ride, a brisk walk, or a shuttle bus ride, you'll be refreshed and ready for the best Roots & Blues festival in the Netherlands, right in the heart of Raalte!
We can't make it any better.
Tickets for the new Camping Ribs & Blues will be available online starting February 2nd.
You can order your camping ticket under TICKETS.
FAQ:
Which tickets do I need for the camping?
You need two types of tickets for the campsite:
A camping ticket per person
A pitch ticket for your campervan, caravan, trailer tent, or tent
For example, if you are coming with two people and staying in one campervan, you will need:
2 personal camping tickets
1 pitch ticket. Please note: camping tickets are only valid in combination with a valid festival ticket.
What exactly does a camping ticket include?
A camping ticket is personal and gives you access to the campsite from:
Saturday, May 23, 2026 – 10:00 AM
Tuesday, May 26, 2026 – 12:00 PM
Please note: A camping ticket does not provide access to the festival grounds. You will need a separate Ribs & Blues festival ticket for this.
What can I pitch on my pitch?
You will have a pitch of approximately 55 m². You can pitch a campervan, caravan, tent, or trailer tent on your pitch. You can also pitch two motorcycles and two tents. Cars are only allowed on the pitch if you have a tent.
Can I park my car next to my caravan?
No, your car must be parked in the parking lot at the campsite. This parking is free for campsite users.
Where can I park my car?
Cars/motorcycles are only allowed on the pitch if you have a tent. In all other situations, cars/motorcycles must be parked in the designated parking spaces.
Is there electricity at my pitch?
Electricity is not included as standard. You can book additional electricity with your pitch ticket, as long as capacity allows. Please note:
Electricity is only available in part of the site.
The number of power outlets is limited.
I have booked additional electricity. What is the amperage?
The power outlet is 230V (volt) and 16 Amp (ampere). This power supply is intended for light and low-power consumption (e.g., charging a phone or a cooler). Heavy-duty equipment such as air conditioners, electric stoves, or heaters is not permitted.
When is the campsite open? The campsite is open from:
Saturday, May 23, 2026 – from 10:00 AM
Tuesday, May 26, 2026 – until 12:00 PM
The campsite is accessible 24/7 during this period.
We expect the campsite to be quiet between 1:30 AM and 8:00 AM. After-parties, music, and heavy traffic are not permitted. The campsite mayor and volunteers actively monitor this.
Can I buy Ribs & Blues tokens at the campsite?
Yes, you can. There is a vending machine available.
Is there a shuttle bus to and from the campsite?
Yes, there is a regular shuttle bus to and from the campsite for a small fee. It is 3.5 km to the campsite, so it's also easily accessible by bike, or for the more adventurous, on foot!
What facilities are available at the campsite? Toilets and showers are available, and there's a greywater disposal point for campers.
What if my camper is larger than 55 m²?
If your camper is larger, please send an email to info@ribsenblues.nl. We'll discuss the options.
Can I pitch next to friends?
If you arrive at the same time as friends, you can probably find a pitch next to each other. However, we can't guarantee this, and unfortunately, we can't reserve a pitch.
Are pets allowed?
Just like on the Ribs & Blues site, pets are not allowed on the campsite.
Are barbecues or open fires allowed?
No. For safety reasons, the following are not allowed on the campsite:
Open fires
BBQs
Fire pits
Torches
Small gas burners up to a maximum of 250 gram gas bottles are permitted.
Is there security or supervision?
Yes, a campsite mayor is present 24/7. There's also a team of volunteers on site who are in direct contact with the organizers and security.
Can I host guests at my campsite?
No, the campsite is only intended for overnight guests. We would appreciate it if you could meet as many people as possible at the festival site.
